This is what i think is true about DA, along with other people

dA's a popularity contest. It's rediculous. It's all about "good art" even though there is no such thing. People don't seem to nor do they want to realize that art can be anything from a stick figure to a drawing replication of a photo. For example:

Words of : My Idol, Eiichiro Oda, when he was younger, entered a contest and drew this beautiful replication of a photo, down to the last detail. He thought that he'd win for sure, but he came in second. the person who won 1st place looked like they were an average middle school student without much experiance in the art field.
It's not about how well it's drawn. Just remember that.

Now try putting this in your dA journal, word for word. We'll see who really cares:

"This is a test to see who's paying attention. It serves to eliminate people who are desperately trying to add "friends" like its a popularity contest in High School. This is a test to see how many people in my friends list actually pay attention to me. Copy and repost in your own journal.
