I opened my eyes and stared at the front tire of the car. I was in disbelief to what just happened. Thats the only thing I remember. I was doing something
. O Yeah! Skateboarding, err, or was it roller bladeing?.... I believe it was roller bladeing.
I was having so much fun zooming around in the parking lot while my mom was watching my brothers base ball game. But I wasnt the only one.
There was a girl with me? We were taking turns going around and around. We wanted to have more fun
We saw a declining ramp and thought we would have more fun so we decided to take turns going down.
If only the girl had warned me what was coming around the corner. I even had a feeling to look to my left around the corner as I went zipping past. That girl was watching around the corner but never said a word. Why didnt the girl say anything? Was she shocked? Scared? Confused? Or just to shy to say anything hoping nothing bad was going to happen.
I looked to my left and saw a car only feet from me. I tried stopping, but only to fall right in front of the car
. I closed my eyes.
That car stopped so
. so suddenly with a screeching halt that I can still remember, and it gives me chills every time. Thank God that car stopped when it did.
Thank God.....
I opened my eyes to the tire of the car inches away from my face.
The lady had gotten out of her car and helped me up. She was so nice she smelled like flowers I believe, something sweet. She hugged me and began crying. A complete stranger, someone I had never met in my life did that. She helped me over to where my mom was watching my brothers game.
I remember telling my mom all that had happened. Through the whole thing I didnt cry. I did not cry even once. I just couldnt believe what had happened to me. I can not imagine life if I would have gotten hit. I did not see anything, only felt it but I know someone or something was watching me.
